Your glucose data is never stored

GGlance reads your glucose values through your own LibreLinkUp account (FreeStyle Libre) or your own Dexcom Share account (Dexcom G6 and G7). Those credentials are stored only in your Garmin Connect IQ settings, on your devices, and are used solely to fetch your own readings.

A Garmin watch cannot sign in to those services on its own, so a small GGlance relay signs in for you, fetches your latest values and hands them to your watch. Nothing is stored. Your readings are passed straight through and discarded, and they are never analysed, profiled, sold or shared.

What the relay does keep is a count that a request happened, whether it succeeded, and the country the connection came from, all attached to a one-way hash rather than to you. Those totals are published openly on our live stats page, updated hourly, so you can see exactly what is counted.

What this website collects

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, privacy-friendly, cookieless tools, to count page views and measure page performance, so we can see which pages are useful and keep the site fast. They set no cookies, do not follow you across other sites, and never collect information that identifies you personally. There is no advertising.

The only time you share anything is when you choose to contact us, and then we only use what you send in order to reply.

Donations

If you choose to support GGlance through Ko-fi, the payment is handled entirely by Ko-fi. We only ever see what they show us, such as a first name and the amount. Please review their privacy policy. If you buy the watch face, that purchase is handled entirely by Garmin through the Connect IQ Store; we never see your payment details.

Third-party services

GGlance works with services run by others: Garmin Connect IQ (your watch and its app store), Abbott's FreeStyle Libre and LibreLinkUp, and Dexcom and Dexcom Share (your sensor and readings). Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can remove GGlance from your watch at any time, and you can clear your LibreLinkUp or Dexcom credentials from the Connect IQ settings whenever you like. Doing so stops GGlance from reading any further data.
